After the massage treatments, Belle now moves more freely, and is stretching more often. She used to sleep in a very curled up position but now lies more often in an open relaxed position with her legs stretched out.

“I didn’t want Casper to be on anti-inflammatories long term or on restricted exercise. Casper is quite a nervous dog but he responded really well and was much more relaxed than I was expecting, and seemed to enjoy it. Rowen was brilliant with Casper, I’m sure they are now friends for life! Since the massage sessions, Casper finds it much easier to jump on the sofa. He has more of a spring in his step, is freer in his movements and seems lighter somehow.”

“Jersey is a very sensitive dog, and intolerant of inflammatory medication, so I hoped that massage therapy would improve her general comfort and mobility in her senior years. Rowen worked with Jersey carefully and compassionately, watching her reactions, and asked me lots of questions so she could understand her better. It is wonderful to see Jersey stretching more and hopping up on the sofa easily. I am very happy with the massage treatments as they help Jersey to relax and relieve the aches and tensions in her back.”

“Penny is a rescue dog from abroad and we know little of her history. I feel that Penny is depressed as she sometimes does not want to go out. She snaps at other dogs, and is sometimes grumpy and reactive towards my husband and daughter and is reluctant to be touched by them. I was a little sceptical about how massage could help but there’s been a huge transformation and it was very emotional to see the big improvement in her moods. She is more enthusiastic to go out, is less grumpy and has started to head rub our daughter and seems to trust her more. Even the doggie daycare owner has commented on how differently Penny interacts with her now.”
